In April 2022, CBC transitioned to a new and improved mobile-friendly system called ctcLink! This means things may look a little different than they did before. We created this page for you, the student, to help you with the transition!

Activating your account just takes three easy steps!
- Visit: ctclink Activation page
- Select "Activate Your Account" - Enter your information
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Select ID Type:
SID (old): if you are a current or returning student with an (old) CBC SID number
ctcLink ID (new): if you are a new student and received your ID in your acceptance letter via email
Set your password
- Enter your preferred email
- Select your security question and answer
- Enter your account recovery information - Record your ctcLink ID and password
Stop before you click OK!
After submitting your security question and password, you’ll be shown your ctcLink student ID. Don’t forget to write it down before you click OK! You’ll need your new SID and password to login to our new-and-improved system.
Don’t worry, if you missed your SID during activation you can reach out to our Student Help Desk via email or 509-543-1445 for assistance. They’ll help retrieve it!

Registration FAQ
You will register for classes in your ctclink Student Center. We've prepared some instructions to help you register!
When you take a quarter or more off from CBC, your account may become inactive.
Please visit the returning student apply page to submit an online admissions application.
If the class you are trying to enroll requires a prerequisite, that will be listed on the class schedule.
Please contact Counseling and Advising to schedule an appointment with a Completion Coach to discuss your options.
It's up to the instructor if they will allow you to overload their class. Please contact the instructor to ask.
Once you have permission from the instructor, the applicable division office will process your permission override to self-enroll.
You will need to contact the division office to process your permission to enroll request.

Payment FAQ
Payments can be made in-person at Hawk Central or online via ctcLink Student Center.
In-Person at Hawk Central
Monday through Thursday: 9 am to 3 pm
Friday: 8:30 to 11 am
Online via Student Center (Full Site): Login to ctcLink > Student Homepage > Financial Account > Payments > Make a Payment
Yes! We still have a payment plan to help you pay your tuition and fees in manageable payments. You can sign-up for our Student Tuition Easy Payment Plan (STEPP) in your ctcLink Student Center.

Financial Aid FAQ
If you have been awarded financial aid, scholarships or have other third-party funding, your award will be applied to your outstanding balance the week prior to the quarter beginning.
If there is a balance due after funding is applied, it is your responsibility to pay the remaining balance. If you are no longer eligible to receive these funds you must pay your tuition/fees immediately. If you have a change in your enrollment or decide to not attend, please email%20Financial%20Aid, call us at 509-547-0511, or visit Hawk Central.
Be sure to check the status of your financial aid and in your ctcLink Student Center and complete your financial aid to-do list in order for your file to be reviewed without additional delay.

Beginning fall quarter 2022, you will check your financial aid in your ctcLink Student Center under Financial Aid. Please monitor your email and to-do list for next steps.
Once your scholarship has been processed, you will see it under anticipated aid in your ctcLink Student Center under Financial Aid.
