already a member and your voice matters! Your student government is here to help you
make the most of your entire college experience.

Esvelt Gallery
Enjoy a variety of art work right here on campus! For over 30 years, the Esvelt Gallery has provided a showcase for student art and community culture at CBC. Admission is free, and we update our collection regularly, so visit us often!
Fitness Center
All students with a current quarter sticker on their student ID card are welcome to get fit and have fun at our fully stocked Fitness Center. We’re even open on Saturday mornings!
Hawk's Nest
Check out our daily specials. Enjoy a salad or burger and even a selection of Starbucks specialty drinks made-to-order. Here’s where hungry Hawks can grab some grub!
Music
Who doesn't love music? We know you do! Audition for our FreeForm and Jazz Ensemble. Join our Chamber or Concert Choir. Play with our Orchestra or Concert Band. Not a performer? Sit back and enjoy performances throughout the year by other talented student musicians. Whatever your jam, there's a way to join the music scene at CBC!
Observatory
We’ll have you seeing stars in no time at the Robert and Elisabeth Moore Observatory, where our main telescope is a 16-inch Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube assembly on a Paramount ME German equatorial mount! While our main focus is supporting astronomy curriculum, other interested students are welcome to join us during community hours.
Planetarium
The Bechtel National Planetarium is a 36-foot panoramic viewing dome that simulates a 3-D effect without the use of those silly glasses. In addition to the many educational films we offer, ASCBC sponsors many popular movie showings throughout the school year for student enjoyment.
Recreation & Wellness
From bowling to paint nights, intramurals to dates with therapy dogs, CBC’s Student Recreation & Wellness team works hard to fill your Hawk life to the brim with excellent extracurriculars. We all know sitting in classes is only part of what makes a school year—the rest is up to Rec (& Wellness)!
Sunhawk Hall
Looking for a convenient, affordable place to live while attending CBC? Look no farther than Sunhawk Hall. Our three-story apartment style student housing offers a variety of living options just across the street from our main Pasco campus.
Theatre
All the world's a stage--find yours at CBC! Our theatre department produces between three and five plays and musicals each year ranging from classic to modern titles. Get involved in acting, stage and props management, lighting, costuming and makeup, and scenery development or enjoy the productions at our theatre facility or outdoor stage free with your current quarter student ID.
Thornton Courtyard
Whether or not the weather outside is frightful, the Thornton Courtyard is always delightful! Come relax in our lush, indoor atrium. Let the babbling brook provide just the right background ambiance for you to study, enjoy lunch with a friend at one of our many convenient tables, or just stroll on through for a quick mental break on your way to class.
