Mentoring
If you would like some additional support through your educational journey, an ASC mentor might be a good fit. Mentors are students who have been at CBC for at least one year, and who have experienced some of the stress, as well as some of the amazing benefits, of being a CBC student.
Mentors can:
- Help you find resources on campus - like CBC's food pantry, several options for financial support and many other programs
- Give you ideas on academic skills - like note-taking and time management
- Connect you to other college students and help build relationships - through clubs, events and activities
- Give you some of that insider college knowledge - like tips on how to use office hours and connect with instructors
- Be someone for you to turn to with questions or when you need support if things get stressful
If you'd like to meet with a peer mentor to learn more about the program and what it offers, you can fill out an Interest Form or you can come in to the ASC, Room T433.
