Enjoy planetarium shows about the Northern Lights and the next Total Lunar Eclipse, which will occur on the evening of March 13 at 8 pm.

Hear from fascinating speakers about the Northern Lights:

• Dr. Elizabeth MacDonald from NASA will introduce the science behind aurora and how you can do aurora science with the Aurorasaurus project.
• CBC Planetarium acting director Prisco Blanco will share expert photography tips about chasing the aurora in eastern Washington.
• CBC and Whitman College engineering and science students will share their amazing experiences chasing aurora in Alaska at a recent educational "Winter Field School."
• Presentations will be followed by a film!
