College Level Examination Program (CLEP) gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for knowledge you have already acquired through independent study, prior course work, on the job training, or professional development by earning qualifying scores on any of 34 examinations. Visit the College Board CLEP website for more information about CLEP exams or to download a registration form.
Prior to testing, it is important to know the CLEP policy of the institution you will be attending to make sure CLEP is a good option for you. CBC limits use of CLEP credits to the restricted electives category of the Associate in Arts and Sciences degree. CLEP cannot be used to satisfy general education requirements.
