Corey Chandler
HeadCoach
Corey Chandler enters his first year as the head men's soccer coach at Columbia Basin College. Chandler graduated from Ashland High School in Ashland, Oregon before joining the Hawks as a player in 2009. A two year star for the Hawks, Chandler was a team captain both seasons at CBC.
Coach Chandler recently received his national coaching diploma and plans to take the next course after the 2012 season.
Of Chandler's entry into the coaching profession, Athletic Director Scott Rogers says, "Corey really began to learn about becoming a better man and leader, as well as what it takes to run a successful organization. He's taking the steps necessary to be able to do this for a long time."
Chandler characterized his time at CBC in similar fashion, "I learned from a great leader and I have always felt like a part of a family at CBC. So many people putting trust in one another, so many people moving in a positive direction. I just could not pass up an opportunity to continue growing and helping young men get the same opportunity I was blessed with at CBC."
