The CBC women's basketball team claimed another NWAACC title in 2012. The championship was the third claimed by Coach Cheryl Holden since 2005.
Team strengths were consistent with teams of the past as they excelled with "hard work" and "hard play." This team's positive attitude and passion for the game made them tough competitors in the East Region, winning back-to-back region titles for the first time in program history.
"We continued to strive for excellence as we worked to reach our team goal of the NWAACC championship in March. Our success was determined by how well we were able to defend and play together as a team," stated Coach Holden.
"We needed to take one game at a time and focus on getting better every game and every practice. This team had the heart and determination to have a great year," said Coach Holden.
