The General Equivalency Degree (GED) program offers classes for persons 18 years of age or older who left high school without receiving a degree. The GED exam provides participants with a means to qualify for educational and employment opportunities.
The GED test consists of five areas: writing skills, social studies, science, mathematics, and interpreting literature and arts. Admission to the GED program is fulfilled by:
- Scheduling an orientation with ABE/GED support staff
- Participating in the orientation
- Taking the CASAS entry test
- Completing WABERS (Washington Adult Basic Education Reporting System) registration
