- Students needing a proctored exam should first contact the Assessment Center located in the Student Services area of the HUB. CBC student clients of the Resource Center Disability Services should work with them for testing accommodations.
- As a courtesy, the CBC librarians may be willing to proctor exams as their schedules allow. Out of deference to our primary mission, exams will only be scheduled during off-peak hours. We cannot proctor examinations requiring supervision of the test taker beyond checking their identification and noting the beginning and end of the test period. We will not proctor examinations which would cause the College to incur any expense, or which require software installation or other modification of our computers. It is the responsibility of the student to work with their institution and insure that examinations arrive with written instructions that are acceptable to the CBC Library.
- The Library will place the exams on file when they arrive, but the student is responsible for determining when exams are available and arranging to take them before their deadline. All exams must be scheduled at least two days in advance, after the materials are on file; a study room must be reserved.
- Students needing additional accommodations will be referred to the public libraries, other educational institutions in the area, or back to their home institution for other options.
