Purpose of the Board
The purpose of governance is that the board, on behalf of the citizens
of Benton and Franklin counties, ensures the accountability of Columbia
Basin College by assuring that it (a) achieves appropriate results for
the appropriate recipients at an appropriate cost and (b) avoids
unacceptable activities, conditions and decisions. Board Members are
appointed by the Governor of the state of Washington.
Board Meetings
Board meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of each month at 4:00
p.m. in the CBC Board Room (A Building). Meetings are open to the
public.
