George & Marianne Grant Endowment

George and Marianne Grant gave generously of their time, talent, expertise, and financial support to the youth of our community. George and Marianne were pioneers and moved to the Tri-Cities in 1948. They established the George Grant Construction Company in 1957 and raised their family. The couple was very active in the community, and George was named Tri-Citian of the year in 1994 in recognition of the many contributions he and Marianne made to the Tri-Cities. George passed in 2009 at the age of 93. As proud sponsors of area athletics, their endowment fund supports scholarships, equipment, and program costs for the Columbia Basin College Athletic program.
