Students who have taken high school AP (Advanced Placement) classes and AP exams may be eligible for credit. A score of four or higher will earn credit for a specific course and credit. Students must submit their score report to the Records office for evaluation.
Students taking the exam in High School must score 4 or above for distribution credit. Courses accepted are graded with a “P” and may be used for degree distribution. Science courses are considered lab/science classes. A score of 3 in any of these subjects is an academic elective. No credit will be given if the same course is taken at CBC. This policy is applicable to CBC only.
For CBC credits offered by AP score achievement see AP Scores Chart.
