The public is invited to view the nuclear technology exhibit “Powering the Future: The Nuclear Fuel Cycle, Industry, & Career Opportunities” from Feb. 8 -20th at Columbia Basin College on the Pasco campus. The traveling exhibit will be held in the HUB Atrium from Feb. 8-14; and from Feb.15-20 in the Center for Career & Technical Education Rotunda.
"Powering the Future" is a glimpse into the nuclear industry. The exhibit explains the nuclear fuel cycle, how the local nuclear industry works together to create electricity, the local and national career outlook, as well as training opportunities through CBC's Nuclear Technology program.
The exhibit is sponsored by CBC’s Nuclear Society along with the Nuclear Technology program. A special thank you is given to AREVA, CREHST Museum, Energy Northwest, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for their donations.
