The 29th Annual Columbia Basin College Career Expo will be on February 21, 2013 from 9-2 p.m. in the HUB Atrium and Byron Gjerde Center on the Pasco campus. The Career Expo is a free informational job and internship fair that offers community members, CBC students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to network with over 80 businesses and agencies, submit resumes, and learn career-related information.
Participants will also take center stage from 8-9 a.m. as they present their live resume/one-minute commercial to a panel of potential employers. To present a live resume, participants must attend a free live resume workshop. The workshops will be held on February 8 and 15, with a final rehearsal workshop on February 20. Employers can gather resumes and schedule interviews with potential candidates. Employers may register by contacting Elizabeth Moon-Patrick at
epatrick@columbiabasin.edu or 542-4362. Early registration is encouraged. The $65 fee for participating employers includes continental breakfast and booth setup.
