Federal Work Study, also known as College Work Study (CWS), is a federally-subsidized employment program which provides financial assistance to students by compensating them for work they perform.
In order to be eligible for Work Study, a student must file a federally-approved application for financial aid and have demonstrated need. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits of college-level courses to be eligible for the CWS program.
Have you been awarded CWS and want to work on campus? You can use the College Work Study (CWS) form to calculate the number of hours per week that you can work.
Student Employment has developed a
Supervisor Handbook and a
Student Employee Handbook which provide information about policies and procedures for supervisors.
