The priority deadline has passed, but applications are still being accepted for fall 2013. As a competitive-entry program, prospective students must meet the following entrance requirements:
Qualified applications will be scored, of which, the top applicants are chosen to participate in interviews, and final selection of students are made after all transcript screening and interview evaluation is completed. Course work begins in the fall, after acceptance.

Radiation Protection Technician Application
Submit completed applications to the Nuclear Technology Program, located in the Center for Career and Technical Education at Columbia Basin College, 2600 N. 20th Ave., Pasco, WA 99301.
$$Scholarship Opportunities$$ ($1,500/quarter)
Thousands of dollars in scholarships are available to current and new NT students for the 2013-14 academic year. Scholarship recipients will be awarded up to $1,500 each quarter due to the generous donations from Washington River Protection Solutions and a grant from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The Nuclear Technology Scholarship Application and supplemental materials are to be submitted along with the Nuclear Technology Program Application.
