Welcome to the Career & Technical Education Division at Columbia Basin College. I hope you find the information included in these pages helpful. The faculty and staff in the Division are pleased to offer a variety of programs and classes to prepare students for entry-level employment. Our programs include opportunities to develop hands-on skills in well-equipped shops and laboratories. Many of the programs also include work-based learning opportunities with local employers.

Our goal is to help students discover their career interests and then provide opportunities to become prepared to work in their area of interest. All faculty members have worked in the industry for which they teach. This helps ensure that students have the opportunity to learn from individuals who know what is required to be successful. We look forward to helping each student explore our programs and to gain the skills and abilities necessary for meaningful employment.
