Welcome
The Parenting & Early Learning Cooperative program is celebrating its 35th year at CBC working with parents and their infant, toddler, and pre-school children. The philosophy of the Parenting and Early Learning program is that parents are children's first and most important teachers and that all parents can benefit from education and support.
The cooperative program, which is taught by qualified Early Childhood Education instructors from CBC, enables parents through observation, involvement, and discussion to enhance their parenting skills while the children experience a quality hands-on learning environment.
The program helps parents learn to create nurturing and stimulating environments because the first five years are critical to a child's brain development. Extensive research indicates that early and frequent parental involvement fosters academic success.
Why Choose A Cooperative?
A Co-op recognizes that parents are the first and most important teachers that children will ever have. A Co-op is the best place to learn and grow right along with your child. A Co-op allows parents to develop and expand their parenting skills. A Co-op has low class ratio, a low tuition, and a very high quality program for both parents and children. A Co-op uses Developmentally Appropriate Practices within the guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.Come See For Yourself!
